Apparently Fashionistas and Foodies are now joining forces. Or so it appears that way based on the cover of the new Barneys catalog I just received. I do recall watching a recent episode of Top Chef Just Desserts and witnessing a dress made out of vegetables, so maybe it's not so farfetched. I'll let you decide for yourselves, I just couldn't resist!

Dear Santa,

I would like a new camera for christmas so that I may hone in on my food photography skills (another great resource is the NYT Dining-Food Photography page!) along with the dress on page 8 of the Barney's catalog, it will go nicely with my Kale.

I also didn't know BEETS could double as a prop to display jewelry. Hmmmm.
